PURPOSE OF CHRISTIAN
EDUCATION
The purpose of Christian
Education is to prepare God’s people for work and
service so that the body of Christ will be mature in the
knowledge of Jesus Christ. As each separate part works,
as it should, the whole body grows and is built up.
Remember: The chain is
only as strong as the weakest link!
CLASS CREDIT/GRADUATION
- Four (4)
nights attendance (minimum).
- Four (4)
years of study.
- Four (4)
different subjects.
- A
Graduation Certificate is issued upon
completion of the above requirements
(per student’s request).

C.O.P. – CERTIFICATE OF PROGRESS
The COP Program consists of
four phases. Each
phase in the four-part program
must be completed, including the receipt of course cards and certificates of
completion presented, before a student advances to the next phase. Upon
completing the fourth phase, the student is issued a Diploma of Christian
Education.

Participant must complete and
submit application.
2.
Participant must have a Dean of
Record. The Dean of Record is
responsible for giving guidance
to the COPP applicant throughout
the program. All applications,
assignments and forms for COPP
should be submitted to the Dean
of Record. The Dean of Record
will communicate with participants
and forward all correspondence to
the Department of Christian Educa-
tion in Nashville, TN.
Cornerstone Baptist Church continues for the
forty-eighth year to pursue its
commitment to Christian Education.

Cornerstone as well as the participating churches so

we would be more effective servants of Christ.
